I have had the pleasure of working with Derek, Jason and the RVRD team on several projects, since my first with them back in 2013. On all of those projects, the RVRD team has earned the trust and respect of every Director and DP. They are a huge asset to the industry in Vancouver and to any production they are a part of.

These guys, are consummate professionals, work their butts off to get the shot for you, and consistently please the most discerning of filmmakers. Not only that, they also have the industry's most creative talents constantly redesigning and updating their state of the art equipment. I’ve seen lots of drone work before, but this stuff took my breath away.

Working on different films around the world, I have found precious few companies that can truly deliver robust, consistent, and technically excellent remote camerawork in extreme outdoor conditions. RVRD is the best I have ever worked with. This is because Jason and Derek are determined to develop and improve their remote camera systems constantly and invest in the latest and greatest technology possible. I am deeply grateful and would work with them anywhere in the world they are willing to go.

Whenever I head to Vancouver to shoot, one of my first calls is to the team at RVRD. They are great collaborators and have the gear and the industry expertise to make even the impossible shots possible.

Having had the privilege of working with RVRD on Netflix's Lost in Space series, I can attest to the tremendous production value they bring to a show. The work they did with their Rapture Drones and U-Crane Arm Cars elevated our landscapes, both technically and creatively. They custom fabricated camera systems to shoot in many difficult locations. Every complex camera shot that our cinematographer threw at them resulted in a creative solution and they came up with a camera system to achieve the shot.

We were landlocked in Canada (a good thing, unless you need a motion picture drone and a U-CRANE). On the horizon at the crack of dawn comes the Revered Cinema team, meticulous as a Marine regiment with the souls of an artist. The result was creative perfection, from the technical to the creative they delivered beyond our expectations.

I’ve never met another film company who evolves, tests, R&D's so quickly and with such accurate results, constantly on the bleeding edge of what’s possible with camera movement and constantly problem-solving. These guys are the real deal.

I love it when I can work with the whole RVRD team. They come prepared, throw out creative solutions and ideas plus have such a great “can do” attitude. And they’ll even surprise you by building a remote-controlled pontoon boat, if that’s something that’ll get the shot!

Our Director David Dobkin, our writer and show runner Chris Sheridan and I wanted to have the camera move to tell this story, to immerse the audience audience in Patience, Colorado. Deploying our amazing drone team from Revered Cinema, they pulled off some incredible shots that look like crane shots, their accuracy and excellence was hugely appreciated. Thank you to my incredible camera team that rocked it out everyday for David and I.

No matter how remote or difficult the location is, RVRD has the tools and the team to capture the most stunning images. I have had the pleasure of working with them out in the middle of the Pacific ocean and amongst the giant trees of the Pacific Northwest and have always been impressed with how the shots that they are able to get elevate the material while still fitting within the structure of the rest of the photography.
